Cookie policy
Short, because there is not much to say. Sign-in needs a few, this site measures visits if you let it, and nothing follows you around the web.
The short version
The application needs a small number of cookies to keep you signed in and to remember how you have set your screens up. There is nothing to consent to for those, and nothing you can turn off without breaking sign-in.
On this marketing site we measure how many people arrive and which pages they read. Those cookies wait for your consent, and if you decline nothing about the site stops working.
One thing on this site is remembered without asking: the language you chose to read in. It is a two-letter code, it measures nothing, and without it every page would arrive in English and correct itself in front of you.
We do not sell what we measure, and we do not run advertising networks on our own site.
What a cookie is doing here at all
A cookie is a small piece of text stored by your browser and handed back to the site that set it. Some of what we describe here is technically not a cookie but local storage in your browser — the distinction matters to engineers and not to you, so we treat both the same way on this page.
Essential — the application, and one on this site
Set on keelvy.app. Without these the product cannot function, so they are not optional and no consent banner will pretend otherwise.
One is set on this site as well: the language you are reading in. It holds a two-letter code and nothing else, it is never used to measure anything, and its only job is to let the page arrive in your language instead of arriving in English and correcting itself a moment later. Declining analytics does not remove it, because it is not analytics.
- Language: the language you chose in the footer, so the next page is served in it directly. Two letters, kept for a year, readable only by this site.
- Session: keeps you signed in until you sign out or it expires. Cleared when you sign out.
- Security token: protects forms against being submitted from another site. Lives for the session.
- Workspace: remembers which workspace and brand you were last working in.
- Interface state: your density setting, palette, theme, table columns and sidebar. Kept for a year, and only in your browser.
Analytics — this site
Set on keelvy.com after you accept. Aggregate only: how many people arrived, where from, and which pages they read.
- Visit measurement: an anonymous identifier and the pages viewed, kept for up to thirteen months.
- Referrer: which site or campaign sent you, so we know what is worth doing again.
What we do not do
No advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking pixels, and no third-party network reading your behavior across the web from our pages.
Nothing from your workspace — no product, no price, no customer — is ever put into a cookie or sent to an analytics service.
How to change your mind
The choice you made on this site can be changed at any time from the cookie link in the footer, and declining later deletes what was set.
Your browser can block or clear cookies for any site, including ours. If you block the essential ones for keelvy.app you will not be able to sign in — that is the browser doing what you asked, not a fault.
Third parties we load
A handful of services are loaded on our pages and may set their own cookies. Each is bound by a contract that holds them to our privacy policy:
- The identity provider that handles sign-in.
- The payment provider, on the checkout and billing screens only.
- Error and performance monitoring, configured not to capture your catalog.
Changes to this page
When we add or remove something that sets a cookie, this page changes with it and the date at the top shows when.
