← Who Keelvy is for
E-commerce and channels · 6 min read

Four stores, one product, and a price that is different in each of them for a reason nobody remembers.

Selling in more places should mean more orders, not more admin panels. In Keelvy each channel gets its own price, photos, texts and listing rules, all from one catalog and one stock figure.

Launch day for a new colorway

A sneaker brand is releasing its runner in a new bone colorway. On the calendar it is one launch. In practice it is four: the Shopify store, the Wix site the brand keeps for the European market, the Faire listing for the boutiques that stock it, and the product feeds that put it in Google Shopping and on Instagram.

Each one wants the product a little differently. Shopify takes eight photos and a long description. Faire wants the wholesale price and case packs. Google rejects an image with text on it. The European site needs the copy in German, and the sizes in EU numbers.

The person in charge of e-commerce spends launch day copying, pasting and fixing, and the week after it finding the one place where the old price stayed.

Where multichannel selling leaks

A second channel doubles the work. A fourth one makes it impossible to keep straight by hand.

  • Stock oversells. Two stores sell the last pair of size 9 in the same hour.
  • Listings go out half-finished. A product without a barcode or with one photo reaches a marketplace that hides it.
  • Each store has its own copy of the truth. Fix a typo in one and the other three keep it.
  • Orders arrive in four inboxes. Returns from one channel never reach the stock count.

What changes in Keelvy

  • Every store from one catalog

Connect Shopify, Wix, WooCommerce, Squarespace, BigCommerce, PrestaShop and Faire. Catalog, prices, stock and shipments go out; orders come back into one list. Shopify and Wix returns and refunds are recorded too.

  • Each channel its own way

Give a listing its own title and description on one channel while every other channel keeps the product’s own text. Choose which photos each channel sends, which products are listed where and what happens when stock runs out.

  • Nothing goes out half-done

Set the least a product must have before a channel sends it: photos, a description, a barcode. Products that are not complete wait, and the screen says what is missing.

  • Feeds for Google, Meta, Pinterest and TikTok

Keelvy builds the product files Google Merchant Center, the Meta catalog, Pinterest, Microsoft Shopping and TikTok read, every hour, from the same catalog.

  • A storefront of your own

Open a storefront from your catalog on your own address, with up to 10,000 products, online payments and pages of your own. Keep it public, or behind a password or a sign-in for trade customers.

  • Sales on set dates

Put a percent-off or fixed sale price on a product or one variant, for set dates, on the channels it is listed on. It starts and ends without anyone staying up for it.

Example: the bone colorway goes live

The runner exists in Keelvy with nine sizes. The bone colorway is added as a new family of variants with its photos.

  1. The catalog editor writes the description once and a shorter title for Faire. The German text goes in as a translation.
  2. Listing readiness holds the variants back from Google until each has a barcode. Two are missing; the screen names them.
  3. At 9:00 the variants go live on Shopify, Wix and Faire, each at its own price, and the product files pick them up within the hour.
  4. By noon size 9 is down to three pairs across all channels. Each store shows the same three.

The result. One launch, done once. The week after is spent on the next product, not on finding the old price.

What Keelvy does not do

  • It does not sell on Amazon, Etsy, Walmart or TikTok Shop yet. The TikTok product file is a feed TikTok reads; it does not connect a seller account.
  • It does not run your ads or bid on keywords. It keeps the catalog the ads point at correct.
  • It does not build your Shopify theme. Your store keeps its design; Keelvy sends it the products.
